James and Liene Carter’s Winter Wedding

When James and Liene first came to chat to me about their wedding day, I instantly warmed to their bubbly fun personalities and knew it would be a wedding day to remember. They had chosen to have a very intimate wedding ceremony with only 10 guests at the service and wedding breakfast with many more joining them for the evening celebrations. This is the smallest ceremony I have photographed to date and it was a true honour to be a part of it.

Their wedding took place on what was undoubtedly the coldest day of the 2017! Sub zero conditions coupled with a beautiful blue sky created a challenging yet beautiful backdrop for the wedding photographs at the Ship Inn near Spalding and at the extra special spot that the couple had found for us to detour too for special seasonal photographs in a field of Christmas trees.
