Mr and Mrs Boniface’s Wedding Story,

Peterborough

6th October 2016

I have been friends with the bride for several years and we have shared many a crazy night on the dance floor and many crazy nights involving a bottle of vodka or two. We have picked each other up and laughed at our bruises the next day! Penny first introduced me to Matt on one of those many nights out and it was clear back then that they were a match made in heaven. It was a true honour when Penny asked me to be their wedding Photographer and extra special for me to be able to capture memories for friends.

They knew straight away they wanted to marry at Orton Hall Hotel, Peterborough and booked their chosen date 2 years ahead. As always the day came around very quick and before we knew it final preparations were under way. Penny and I discussed what wedding photos she wanted me to capture and I thank her for her wonderful kind words saying ‘I’ve seen your amazing photo’s, I trust you to decide’, thank you Penny, from the bottom of my heart, it means so much to me that you have so much faith in me to create a wedding photo gallery that you will love.

The ceremony and wedding breakfast were beautiful and I thank Dawn and Adam for including myself and Phillipa within your numbers for the meal. It was lovely to be able to chat to the guests and hear more about both of you. After a relaxed afternoon, with lots of fun and laughter, preparations got underway for the final formalities of the day, cutting the cake and first dance, however just as this was being organised I spotted the most beautiful sky. I always discuss with my couples how they would like to proceed in the event of this happening, explaining that it is a window of opportunity and sometimes we only have moments to capture the shot so ask if they would like me to order them outside if such a situation occurs. Thankfully Dawn and Adam had agreed to me ushering them outside and I truly believe that this one photograph will make up for all the rain off the day.

I found editing Penny and Matt’s wedding photos quite emotional. Seeing the emotion shine though in their photos, it is clear how in love they truly are. I love to capture the love and story within the wedding photos that I create. Penny and Matt here’s your story, I hope I’ve done you proud.
