Christmas is my absolute favourite time of year. Watching my children delight in the wonder and magic makes my heart melt. Christmas Lights, Christmas songs, presents, visits to Santa, and quality family time, I love it all. And of course I am right there with my camera capturing the memories. I am embarking on what is likely to be the final year of my children being believers, so this year I intend to record as much as I can and make it as magically as possible. Do you have any secret tips to help keep the magic alive?
I am hoping that I will be lucky enough to secure tickets for the Polar Express this year. It is one of my favourite Christmas stories so I really hope to enjoy the experience with my little ones before the magic is lost. Consequently the Polar express has been some of the inspiration behind my Christmas mini sessions this year. I have incorporated Santa, Pj's, the story, and even the magic bell will put in an appearance.
This year the studio will have 3 simple set ups with a selection of added props to add that extra Christmas cheer. First a winter wonderland scene, with sledge, fur cones and a a very special item yet to arrive. Children can come prepared in winter coats and wolly hats to add to the effect.
Children will then remove coats to reveal Christmas themed clothing or party wear for a simple white set up. Added baubles and glitter trees create a little bit of sparkle.
Finally a quick change into Pj's for the bedroom scene, complete with a story book and then milk and cookies.
Mini sessions are priced at the fantastic price of £65. This includes 3 digital images for you to download and print. Options to upgrade to 5 digitals or the full collection are also available. If you would like further information please visit the Christmas photoshoots tab under 'our services', alternatively if you would like to secure your space you can book direct using the new online booking system via the link below. I look forward to welcoming you to the studio for some festive fun soon.
