When Vikki asked me to be her wedding photographer for her marriage to Luke I was truly honoured. Vikki lost her first husband, Sean to Leukaemia just a few months after they were married. Sean was my cousin and I have watched Vikki's journey as she has battled with her grief, raised her children single handed and finally found happiness again with Luke. I didn't hesitate to agree to taking their wedding photos despite the 2 hour journey to their home in Norwich.
They choose a beautiful summers day in July and were married at the Roundwood Functions Centre in Norwich, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. If you are local to Norwich and planning your day then please consider the Roundwood as your venue. Luke, the functions manager was top notch, you will not be disappointed with the service you receive and the grounds are perfect for some stunning wedding images.
Vikki chose her sister Louise, Luke's daughter Sasha and her 2 children, Racheal and Amy as bridesmaids and Flowergirls, all 4 of whom looked stunning in their 50's style dresses. The wedding truly was a family affair with lots of children joining the celebrations, Racheal and Sasha doing a beautiful reading, a wedding cake made by the Groom and a bouncy castle included in the entertainment. One of the highlights for me being when everyone broke out in laughter when Vikki fluffed her vowels and referred to Luke as her 'awful wedded husband'.
After my official duties as wedding photographer were complete it was lovely to down tools and catch up with many of my family members and dance the night away with my beautiful children.
Here is a sneaky peak at their beautiful collection of images.
I wish Vikki, Luke, Sasha, Racheal and Amy a lifeetime of happiness together and am honoured to have you as part of my family x
